Are contract and remote data engineer jobs included?
Yes. You can filter by permanent, contract or fixed term, and by remote, hybrid or on-site. For contracts we show the day rate and whether the advert says inside or outside IR35. The work pattern and IR35 status are read from the advert text, so always check the full advert.
What is the average data engineer salary in the UK?
Most permanent data engineer adverts offer between £50,000 and £85,000 a year, with senior and lead roles in London often £90,000 to £120,000. Contract day rates are usually £450 to £700 a day. Sort the jobs by highest pay to see the current top rates.
Can I get visa sponsorship for a data engineer job?
Data engineers can qualify for the Skilled Worker visa (SOC 2133 or 2134). Jobs marked "✓ Visa sponsor" are at employers on the Home Office register of licensed sponsors. Recruitment agencies are not the sponsor, so ask the agency who the end employer is. Check the salary with the Skilled Worker salary checker.
