What do the ratings mean?
A-rated
The sponsor holds a full licence and is meeting its sponsor duties.
B-rated
The licence has been downgraded and the sponsor is following a Home Office action plan. It generally cannot assign new Certificates of Sponsorship until it is upgraded.
Provisional (UK Expansion Worker)
An overseas business setting up its first UK presence, licensed only for the Global Business Mobility: UK Expansion Worker route.
Student sponsors
